We feel our service users have a right to independence, equality, choice, normality and happiness.
We place the needs and aspirations of our services users at the centre of our philosophy of care. We seek to promote these rights in all aspects of the environment and the services we provide and encourage our service users to exercise these rights fully.
We very much see ourselves as a Therapeutic Community, which is a participative, group-based approach to long-term mental illness. This allows us to work towards our person-centred outcomes with a collaborative approach.
